The Hotel Nuovo Teson is a three-star hotel just off the Riva degli Schiavoni, Venice's waterfront promenade east of the Piazza San Marco.

Its 28 rooms range from singles to four-person family rooms, all with free Wi-Fi. (Two rooms are accessible to disabled guests, with an elevator from the lobby.)

The breakfast staff can provide gluten-free foods and soy milk if you indicate your needs on the booking form.

How to reach Hotel Nuovo Teson from the Alilaguna Linea Blu airport-boat pier at Arsenale:

1. As you leave the Arsenale waterbus pier, turn left and walk to the stone bridge.

2. Cross the bridge.

3. Turn right into the second street after the bridge (the Calle de la Pescaria).

4. The Hotel Nuovo Teson will be down the street and on your right at no. 3980.

From the San Basilio cruise pier:

1. Leave the terminal by the main doors and walk to the wooden bridge.

2. Cross the bridge and walk a short distance to the vaporetto station.

3. Take the No. 2 vaporetto (water bus) in the direction of San Zaccaria.

4. Get off at the Zaccaria stop, turn right, cross the stone bridge, and continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the Calle de la Pescaria.

5. Turn left into the Calle de la Pescaria and walk a short distance to the Hotel Nuovo Teson.
