Watch the movie, then see the city with an In Bruges
hotel package
BRUGES/BRUGGE, BELGIUM -- In 2007, Bruges starred in the new film In
Bruges, by the American director Martin Mc Donagh. In the other leading
roles appear Colin Farrell, Brandon Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes. The shooting took
place mainly in the historic city of Bruges, Belgium (or "Brugge," as the city
is known in the local Flemish language).
The Heritage Hotel in Bruge is offering an In Bruges Package to
celebrate the movie's July release in Belgium. The package, which is available
through August 31, 2008, includes:
- A stay of one or more nights with a Champagne breakfast buffet;
- A map of Bruges that shows the movie's shooting locations;
- A 'Bruges' drink at the bar;
- A boat trip on the canals of Bruges;
- A visit to the local brewery 'Halve Maan';
- A horsedrawn-carriage ride through the historical centre of Bruges.
